Come join the People's Alliance, along with community partners and allies, for the launch of the new Durham Living Wage Project - Durham's first voluntary, living wage certification program.
On March 10th the program starts at 7pm at Fullsteam Brewery (726 Rigsbee Ave), a Certified Living Wage employer and one of the founding businesses of the campaign.
Come early to visit tables of Living Wage employers starting at 6:30pm. The event is open to the public, so come learn about why we need a living wage in Durham and how the certification program works. Meet local living wage businesses and hear about plans to publicize the program, including a crowdfunding campaign to raise additional support and spread the word.
